Mozilla, openoffice and cups

My two problems it's about print cups system in mozilla and openoffice.
In mozilla I change lpr to lp and I can print fine. But every time I reboot the computer I must do this chage - the lpr return.
In openoffice do
#/usr/lib/openoffice/spadmin
then
I type the command lp
but when I trye print a openoffice like a user the cups don't work and the output is unformat page of caracteres.
What I can do to correct this problems?

If you look into your ~/.mozilla directory, you should find somewhere there a file called user.js or prefs.js that has a line where you can configure the default printing command in Mozilla.
