Mounting WinXp files over network

I am atttempting to network my Desktop running Debian to a laptop running Windows XP. Using samba I have managed to access the Desktop in Windows and I have set the windows files to share over the network. How do I now mount those files in the Linux tree?

Two ways to mount a samba share:

1) Use the smbmount utility

i.e. smbmount //<host or ip here>/<share name> /<local dir here> -opassword=whatever


2) Use the /etv/fstab file
