Unhappy mount other partitions

Hi, just installed Debian.

Have it installed on another PC. On this one it is triple booting with Slackware and WinXP.

WinXP is located on the first drive, 320 Gigs, two partitions.

The second drive is split into four partitions as follows,
Quote:
hdb1 Slackware root 10 Gigs
hdb3 Slackware home 56 Gigs
hdb4 Debian 10 Gigs
hdb5 Linux Swap 2 Gigs
When I open Computer on the desktop, I can see all the partitions on both drives. The only one I can open (mount) is Filesystem (debian). When I try to open any other partitiion, I get the following message....

Quote:
Unable to mount the selected volume.

Show Details.
libhal-storage.c 1401 : info: called libhal_free_dbus_error but dbuserror was not set.

process 4081: applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close() docs. this is a bug in the application.

error: device /dev/hdb3 is not removable

error: could not execute pmount
I specifically would like to access Slackware Home, but being able to access the other drives could be useful. I can In Slack.

Anyone have any ideas.

You may want to compare the file /etc/fstab on the Slack and Debian installs. Another option is the use of UUID's instead of simple device names (like /dev/hdb1 and such).
