Modules loading multiple times at boot

Hi.

During my boot sequence, a lot of modules attempt to load multiple times, resulting in something like:

Code:
...
module_xyz already loaded
module_xyz already loaded
module_xyz already loaded
...
in my boot messages. Funnily enough, these don't show up in dmesg.

This doesn't seem to cause problems but it slows the boot process right down. There's nothing in /etc/modules that would be causing this - where else does Debian look for modules to load at boot time? What is trying to load these modules, and how can I stop it?

Cheers.

If you know something about shell language you can get start from /etc/inittab and then you will find what you want.
Just read from /etc/inittab and move on by the script in /etc/inittab.
