locale is en_US.UTF-8, but gnome turns out to chinese envirement


I set the default locale is en_US.UTF-8, but when I logout and login again, the menu of gnome is still chinese. Why?

Have you set the locales from both these commands:

dpkg-reconfigure locales
dpkg-reconfigure localeconf
