If you mean the Main, Universal & non-free.
You can use aptitude (start it from your shell).
Then select "installed packages".. It'll show you only installed packages, and let's say you choose:

Installed Packages > Admin, it'll also ask you: Main or universe.. Or if only packages from the Main repo were installed, it'll only show Main, select it, and you'll see the packages installed from the Main repo, and the versions.

Another way to show installed packages is:

dpkg --get-selections or dpkg -l , but afaik no option to view by or sort by repository.

Hope it helps.

Good luck!

You could use apt-show-versions which is in the Debian repositories.
Once installed you can check with something like this:

Code:
apt-show-versions | grep unstable
This shows what packages i have installed from the Unstable repository:

Code:
ade@Pc1:~$ apt-show-versions | grep unstable
gtk2-engines-cleanice/unstable upgradeable from 2.4.1-0.3 to 2.4.1-1
xpdf/unstable uptodate 3.02-2
xpdf-common/unstable uptodate 3.02-2
xpdf-reader/unstable uptodate 3.02-2
Just change unstable for whatever you you want to search for.

Open Synaptic and click "Origin" (third button at the bottom left corner) and voila.

Since synaptic can do it, it's definitely an apt option that I, sadly, ignore.

Look in

/var/lib/apt/lists/*Packages

Just one thing. You asked about which repositories. I think apt-show-versions will show you the version number and which Debian release. Ie. testing or unstable and versions x.y.z, not which apt repository is providing the package.

Cheers,

Evo2.
