libstdc++.so.5 installation on ubuntu Linux (Lucid)


Hello all,

Please, does anyone know the correct installation process for libstdc++.so.5 I run a 64bit system. I have an intel fortran compiler installed on my machine but unable to fetch this shared library (libstdc++.so.5) error popped up.
Any help pls?

What version of Ubuntu?

You probably just want
Code:
apt-get install libstdc++5

This file is available in the libstdc++5 package from the lucid-backports repository
