Unhappy Keyboard Error?

Hi, Can anyone tell me how can I correct this error message? When I use apt-get or synaptic
after I download?

How are you executing this? Are you configuring your keymap from baseconfig, or manually?

Not sure exactly what you mean--by "doesn't do anything," you can't select an element from the list (i.e. you can't continue)? Or by selecting any option, you keymap doesn't change?

Unless you have a new keyboard, you should probably choose "Don't Touch Keymap."

I mean that if I select "Don't Touch Keymap." It will still act the same way,

Perhaps the software you are upgrading requires that the keymap is also upgraded?

Are you sure that the package that asks you this is finishing its installation correctly? When a package fails installation, the package manager will attempt to reinstall it whenever it installs ANYTHING (consequently, this will pop up until the installation is successful).
