so just what dvd ISOs do I need for a full install
my internet connection is through a wifi card
and I'm installing the 64bit version so I will need
to build madwifi from source to get back on the net
so I can install what I didn't download from the start
do I need all 3 dvd ISOs
The first DVD for AMD64 should be enough. It will definitely have all the build tools you need and any desktop you want. madwifi is popular enough that I would expect it to be on DVD1. Don't forget that DVD1 is roughly equivalent to CD1..CD6 (the entire 'Potato' release).
Just to make sure:
1. Download ISO for DVD1
2. mount ISO and check for madwifi package
