Is it a bug, that tune2fs does only the mount / and not other disks ?

Hello,

My disks are :
/dev/hde1 mounted as /
/dev/sda1 /home
/dev/sdb1 data into /home

After months of used the
/dev/sda1 hasnt been fsck checked since 235 mounts ?

tune2fs does only the /dev/hde1 , and I am running Debian stable.

Hence I did
Code:
tune2fs -c 2 /dev/hde1
tune2fs -c 2 /dev/sda1
tune2fs -c 2 /dev/sdb1
and still the same : only the first disk /dev/hde1 is fsck checked ?
is it a deep checking it does the fsck like fsck.ext3 -a /dev/hde1 or only headers ?

how to solve so that the all disks are "deep - fscked" and not only headers ?

Perhaps set the last number of each line for a linux partition in fstab to 1 or 2 depending on needs. fstab might be resetting the value. Often "1" for "/" and "2" for more seldomly used. "man fstab"

they are since 1.5 year given to be mounted
each time at boot

surprisingly , it never worked fro the non / partitions :-(

Post "tune2fs -l /dev/sda1", /etc/e2fsck.conf and /etc/fstab.

well i cnat understand , they are all "tune2fs-ed" to c 2 and the only one that is done it the /dev/hde1 at boot
the 2 other disks are not checked never ,just when I mount with root access occasionally

Hence I was right :

tune2fs only fix the / first partition, and do not give interest to fixing others

damn sad !

Perhaps you need to change the fsck number to 1 at the end of the fstab line for sda1 and others.
Also might be a bug with hwclock.
Do you have /etc/e2fsck.conf?
Mine is:
#####
:~$cat /etc/e2fsck.conf
[options]
buggy_init_scripts = 1
#####
which is supposed to take care of a problem with the bios hwclock being something else than gmt.
