Is getting CUDA and OpenCL to work on Debian with Laptop hardware hard?

I'm contemplating getting a PC Laptop with dedicated graphics (currently looking at Clevo W110ER), but am worried that I may have problems getting CUDA and OpenCL to work, am swayed to get a Macbook Pro just to avoid the headache of installing CUDA & OpenCL . . .

Googling doesn't yield much recent tutorials or posts that explains how to install them. Most of them refer to Ubuntu, which is not my cup of tea. Was wondering if anyone here has perform the installations recently without much trouble

all the current NVIDIA.run drivers for nvidia cards support CUDA

CUDA is nvidia ONLY

The Optimus will probably give you problems but if you can get over that then, as John VV states, the NVIDIA driver from their website will support CUDA. Incidentally I think the drivers included in Debian Stable may work but I know the ones in Sid support that card. Again, though, Optimus is your potential problem.
Unless somebody here happens to own that machine then your best bet is to google hard then ask more specific questions.

CUDA should work with bumblebee on 'optimus' laptops (nVidia + intel HD video like the Clevo W110ER). Tons of 'how tos' on bumblebee around, but I'm not sure what debian version you are running so I wont post random pages. It could work even without bumblee-

I wouldnt get a Macbook pro...they cost so much you could get a laptop made to be portable (rather than a 'dekstop replacement') and a powerful dekstop with a lot more CUDA copres and CPU power for less than a macbook pro.
