Hi

Just installed debian woody on my server. DHClient is setup and working, I have checked ifconfig, and the lease files, and the IPs, DNS servers etc are all correct.

I cant access anything on the net, I cant even ping the dns servers, I can ping the router and other computers on the network, but not outside.

This is just a base install, as I need the internet for apt-get to get the latest progs to get the system running.

Is there any files I need to edit to get this working, or logs I can check.

After much googling and trial and error, I added a couple of lines to /etc/network/interfaces and have got it working!

Just installing the rest of the system with apt-get.
