How to configure a server to send out podcasts

Good day. I am running a new install of Debian 5.0. Currently only KDE and stand workstation is installed. I am wanting to provide to some of the churches in our area a way to podcast their sermons. I am unable to find out what I need on the server side to do this. Can someoone provide me with that information?
Thanks,
Ken

there's no such thing as a "podcast" in a technical sense, it's just an mp3 track (or similar), so if you want them to be accessible, you just need a web server to put them on.

I think the way podcasts work, is that you have an RSS feed and it updates when new MP3's are uploaded. I've never setup an RSS feed, but I think it's just some server side scripts that update an XML file which points to the most recent MP3 file, and each file is given a name with an appropriate stamp to keep them all in order. When you run iTunes or whatever RSS feed reader/podcast receiver, it just downloads the XML, checks for changes, and downloads the new audio file. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
