GParted on Raspbian GNU/Linux 11: botched installation
When opening GParted from the desktop a message stating "invalid configuration file in /home/pi/.local/share/applications/gparted.desktop" appears.
When starting from command window following gets displayed: "command not found".
After sudo purge gparted, a re-install is attempted: sudo apt-get install gparted
Then following error message appears in the command window:
"Some packets cannot be installed. Following information can possibly help resolve the issue:
Following packets have not-fulfilled requirements:
libc6-dev : broken: libgcc-8-dec (< 8.4.0.2~) but 8.3.0.6+rpi1 will be installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve resulted in defects. This may be caused by retained packages"
This happened after an upgrade from Debian 10 (Buster) to Debian 11 (Bullseye).
Prior to that GParted worked fine.
Please help?
Thanks!
