freeze on ssl cert creation on amd64 debian install

I know it takes a while to create an ssl-certificate, but I was installing Debian testing netinst for AMD64 and it stuck for more than an hour on creation. ( I have an Athlon X2 with 2 gigs ram.)

How long should it take?

I recently configured one for the same domain name (the hard drive and install have since been wiped) foo.net; would this cause a problem?

I notice the output (I'm doing it again) says "Obsolete command TITLE configuring ssl-cert called" then the time changes to the correct time zone and I see "groupadd name=ssl-cert, GID=103" and nothing is happening.

This is a reported bug. You'll want to manually install an earlier version *.14.

Had the same annoying problem. Manual fix found (& it does work):

This was still a problem on yesterday's (Feb 27th) daily build of Lenny. However, the workaround does work just fine, so I now have the latest Lenny build on my machine. It was a reported bug, and although the developers claimed to have fixed it, the fix doesn't seem to have cascaded through the daily build as of yesterday. By next week however, it might well have been.
