force module loading at initramfs

Hello

Is the any way to force load a module during boot time (initramfs) just like modprobe -f does?

I know this is potentially insecure and dangerous but as far as this specific situation goes it's safe.
To be more specific.. i compiled the Linux Integration Modules for Hyper-V (linux-source 2.6.38)
and installed linux-image-2.6.38 from backports.
But it seems something about version symbols isn't right and they don't get loaded at boot time.
If i load them manualy using modprobe -f, all is well

I thought about that, but the same problem remains..
dmesg reports wrong version symbols and modules don't load.

until now i was able to get around this problem by modprobe-ing (with --force) in rc.local
but since those modules are required for some pretty basic/vital stuff (such as recognising scsi controller, network adapter etc etc), it no longer seems the right way to do so

all i need is some kind of way to specify to initramfs (or /etc/modules for that matter) to force them to load.. regardless of version info.

nevertheless thanks for you answer
