etch netinstall through wireless

Hi,
I'm hoping someone has had experience in this and can offer some advise.
I went to install etch on my new system and was pleasantly surprise to see it show "broadcom ....wireless eth0" as an option to install from. I clicked this and it asked for "please enter your ieee number" At least that's what I think it was, it certainty didn't ask for my WEP key or something I've heard of. Can anyone advise what this number is and where I get details?

Thanks

Wikipedia has this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11

it has something to do with the type of wireless you have... I don't know what you would put in for it though. Maybe like 802.11b or 802.11g?
