Error: Unable to boot /install/2.6/linux when starting Etch Install
Hi, I have a problem where that when I try to start the Etch net install, when at the 'boot:' prompt. That when I press [enter] or type linux26 [enter] I get the error: unable to boot /install/2.6/linux. I've tried to daily builds. Does anybody know whats up?
I think I refrased this topic, because the other post didnt attract any attention. I havent tried any other media etc.... because the Sarge disks worked fine. MD5Sums matched, so I sent an email on the lists.debian.org, and found ti was actually a problem, becausr the disks are autobuilt, and they were in the process of fixing it. In the end I just dist-upgraded using the sarge disks
I posted the very same problem a day ago, basically when you burn the image with nero, you must close the session. otherwise the boot process fails to see the 2.6 directory.
