Hi my friends...
I have a problem with debian lenny. When I connect to my college access point via my laptop wireless adapter,my desktop crashes and work very slowly and I can't work in my desktop. I think there is some problem with "network-manager" software. When I disable this application my desktop will be better & better and work correctly.But without the network-manager I can't connect to access point via even via dhclient software.
Only when I enable nm I can connect to the access point. I don't know what is the problem? Could you please help me to solve this problem?
I don't want to install my linux again.

I'm not sure which "network-manager" you're using (which package) but if it is network-manager-kde/gnome you can try a different one such as wicd and maybe the problem will be solved.
