debian installation guide

hello, i know this may be a silly question for most of you, anyway i have found installation guide of Debian a little difficult for me and so i need to know if you can address me to some more manageable guide for doing this.

I have to install Debian Sarge on my laptop, keeping (for some sad reasons) XP still running on a little space of the HD.
