Debian 3.1R0A DVD ISO Buring Problem

I downloaded the two DVD iso files using jigdo and both of those downloaed fine and passed the md5sum check at the end. I also ran md5sum on them and they both match the sums shown in the MD5SUM file from the download site.

I burnt the first DVD without any problem using K3B. It burnt and verified correct. When I burnt the second DVD it burnt and failed verification. Tried the process twice with the same result. Then I tried burning the DVD with the following command:

growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/cdrom=debian-31r0a-i386-binary-2.iso

It burnt fine again, but when doing an md5sum on /dev/cdrom the result still didn't match the iso file md5.

Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong here?

thanks!
