Question Compile GCC

Hi
I want to compile GCC 4.8.3.I must compile GCC instead of install this.
I find some command for this work, but it is not enough,
so can you help me and introduce a good source for it?
Because I search a lot ,but there is no good site that learn and explain the compile of GCC.
thanks

I think here you can find all the information you need: https://gcc.gnu.org/install/
