coLinux Debian KDE Help


I am running Debian in coLinux and i am trying to set up kde. i have ran apt-update and apt-get ....

i get a message like this when i run "XFree86 -xf86config /etc/X11/XF86Config-4"
Code:
(WW) Cannot open APM 

Fatal server error:
xf86EnableIOPorts: Failed to set IOPL for I/O
I fear to even think what gonna happen when it trys for my mouse and Video Card
