Can't access from win98

I have my debian installed at my PC. Another win98 also I have which are in LAN. From my win98 network neighbourhood I can view domain name "dhaka.net" and after getting into "dhaka.net" I saw "debian" which is host name. I tried to enter at debian but it says password incorrect. I tried with all user password but failed. CAn anybody give any idea about geting into debian.

My full hostname is "debian.dhaka.net" at debian.

Thanks ......

I assume this is with samba?

Have you created samba users as well as unix users?

Have you created any share in your Debian machine?

Open a web browser and go to localhost:901 to use swat to configure your samba.

In the globals setting, use 'share' instead of 'user' for the security option.(actually it is supposed to use 'user' for better security reason, but I did not make it work :P )

In shares, create your shares and keep the 'nobody' account as it is system default user.

Hope this helps.
