Building powerpc install discs from source

I've been trying to hunt down some old Debian install discs for mad science with a beige Macintosh but unable to find a complete DVD image or package mirrors. There is a Debian 3.1r8 source DVD on archive.org, now the question is... can I use this to rebuild the PPC install DVD?

Alternately, if anyone out there happens to be hoarding obsolete PPC Linux ISOs, I'd happily pay to have some sent on a big flash drive!

Putting "debian archives" into a search engine reveals a Distribution Archives page which opens with:

The archives go back to v1.1...
