bittorrent on woody

Anyone know a bittorrent client that will run on woody? I'm having dependency problems (involving python versions and supporting libraries) with bittorrent itself; see my thread on the subject in this forum.

If you are looking for command based utitilty then try btdownloadheadless.py from http://www.bittorrent.com/. See http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/vi...nt-client.html

The clients mentioned by jyank and nixcraft are in testing (sarge). I run woody as mentioned above and there are python version problems.

I got the bittorrent backport, and the non-gui versions seem to work. I'm just having trouble getting it to work through my proxy/firewall setup.
