Question Apt screwed after attempt to install a .deb package

I followed these instructions to install a bittorent command line client.

However, when executing the command to install the .deb package I got a lot of errors including Python is not installed (which is).

Anyway, since then, apt-get doesn't work anymore and gives me always an error related to bittorrent and python

Example :

Code:
Debian-31-sarge-32-minimal:/home/michael/torrents# apt-get install lynx
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
You might want to run ‘apt-get -f install’ to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
bittorrent: Depends: python (>= 2.4) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: python-wxgtk2.6 but it is not installable
Depends: python-twisted (>= 2.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: python-crypto (>= 2.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: python-psyco but it is not going to be installed
Depends: python-zopeinterface but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try ‘apt-get -f install’ with no packages (or specify a solution).
I tried apt-get -f also but no good Basically I cannot install anything using apt anymore - it gives me the same error all the time ....
