apt-get error warning...


i just upgraded todays packages for debian etch and received this message when running
apt-get update as well as attitude and synaptic.

W: There are no public key available for the following key IDs:
A70DAF536070D3A1

this is first time i ever see this....any ideas where to start...

apt-get worked perfectly to today's updates

gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys 6070D3A1 && apt-key add /root/.gnupg/pubring.gpg

thanks rickh.......worked perfectly for me....just had to substitute the whole key....

but i dont understand why this happened....

Debian changes the keys on a yearly basis for security reasons if I recall correctly.

Testing and Unstable have now a package called gui-apt-key that should make it easy to manage those digital keys for Debian package repositories.
