I have a problem with Amarok 1.2.4. Everything worked fine, until about a week ago. Probably after upgrading packages, amarok got a bit messed up. It can't update collection (so new songs I put into my directories don't show up in collection window - very anoying). Moreover in context browser every song shows as not in my collection (in Current tab), and every atempt to switch to other tab of context browser brings me back to Current tab. I also can't delete files from disk through amarok and record albums on cd (nothing happens when I select that). I tried reinstalling amarok (also purging configuration files), downgrading it to version on my Debian Sarge cd, running as root (to asure it's not a problem with access rights and with configuration in my home directory) and nothing helped. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's a really anoying problem for me.

Chances are you upgraded libsqlite3-0 to version 3.2.2-7 which does not work correctly. You can downgrade with this version:
