new kernel 2.6? dor dsl?

Hi,
I said in my previous message, I need 2.6 to recognize automaically my usb mouse on miniPC ( has just usb);

I am asking, and myself, if it is possible to install 2.6.24 for example from debian and start with it?
If yes, please tell me how?

I'm not sure what you mean by "miniPC". Is that a generic term or an ancient 80286 brand computer? It needs at least a 386 microprocessor to run Linux. Also, a Red Hat distro that old may not have usb mouse (HID) support because it wasn't invented yet when that version of Red Hat came out. Use a recent Fedora Core distro.

hi,
small PC is a light and thin client, small because it has just flash as harddisk (512 MB), and no standard devices,it has n't cdrom, just usb,
to connect flash disk, keyboard and mouse.
So to install DSL, you need to recognize the usb mouse, usb keyboard and of course the pendrive. My problem with dsl (kernel 2.4), the mouse is not detected, while the keyboard is. For this reason I used DSL-n. Unfortunatly DSL-n is somewhat old, i want to complete DSL, with kernel 2.6.
