Login Default?

Can anyone tell me what the default "Login:" is? I thought it was something like DSLLinux, but that's not working. I installed DSL to the HD on my 166 MgHz Aptiva several weeks ago. I'm finally getting around to playing with it and can't remember the login. Hopefully I can remember the password.

Other than re-installing, is there anyway around this?

If you can log in as root then you can work your way through the porblem. If you cannot log in as root then you probably will have to reinstall.

If you can log in as root then you can list the user names by ls -l /home

Once you know a user name then you can give the user a password with the passwd command. See:
man passwd
