When ever I boot using my live cd, it shows the command line interface. How to start GUI.
I m using this on my LAPTOP (ACER 4520 Turion 64x2, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard Disk)

startx ?

What's the prompt you get when you boot up from the LiveCD?

If it's "Boot:", all you have to do is press Enter. This should be the login screen you get from the LiveCD. Above the prompt there should be a picture of the DSL penguin and a bunch of "Welcome to DSL" text.

However, if you get a different prompt, like something like "[DSL]$ " then you type startx. You shouldn't boot directly to this command line from the LiveCD though. If this is what you're getting, you might want to try downloading a new ISO and burning a new LiveCD.
