how do i boot DSL from windows?


win doesnt autorun it ( is it even supposed to? ).

You have to restart your computer with the cd in it, it should start. If not, go in the BIOS setup to get your computer looking for a cd when you restart. Sorry for my weird english. I hope it helped

That's the only thing i know, i'm a newbie, but maybe it's the information you need

do you want to run dsl from within windows?

in that case you need to download "dsl-embedded".

one you unzip it in windows all you have to do is run "dsl-windows.bat".

follow splout's advice if you want to boot from DSL - although you cannot do this from the embeded version - only the standard....
