Enable apt download error

Hello,

I have installed DSL in a virtual machine (Q, the Mac version of QEMU) on a 2.0GHz MacBook. QEMU apparently emulates a Pentium II.

Anyway, I installed it to see if I could get something running in WINE. (I know, CrossOver Mac, but I tried it and it didn't work. Nobody answers emails. Support is better with the free version on Linux).

So, Apps=>Tools=>Enable Apt.

It downloads, and says 100% downloaded, then: 'dsl-dkpg.dsl.7 saved [1588056/1588156]

Download error!

Press enter to continue

If I try to use apt-get, I get 'command not found'

Is there another way to get apt working?

Thanks,
Paul

either run dpkg-restore or just download dsl-dpkg.dsl from ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distribu...l/mydsl/system then run apt-get ...
