Hi folks,
I tried installing DSL 2.2b on pendrive as HD using;
Apps --> Tools --> install to Hard Drive
without success.
on proceed to install boot loader following warning pop
Code:

1423+0 record out
modinfo : ieee1397: no module by that name found
cp : missing destination file
Try `cp --help' for more information
Use[G]rub or [L]ilo boot loader ? (g/l) : g
Code:
Setting up grub
/dev/sda does not have any corresponding BIOS drive.
There were 2 partitions on the pendrive, partition-1 to run the OS and partition-2 for storage, both on ext2 fs.
My questions are;
1. Can a pendrive be a HD for installing DSL?
2. If YES, then how to fix the above problems?
3. On booting the pendrive which option on the BIOS to be up
-USB-ZIP ?
-USB-HDD ?
OR
-SCSI (an USB 2.0 PCI card has been installed. Can it be recognised as SCSI?)
Please advise. TIA
B.R.
