$username,

One of the main goals of LQ is to help members get questions about Linux answered. One way we help facilitate this is with the "Zero Reply" functionality, which allows you to easily find threads with no replies. In the spirit of helping other LQ members, I'd like to have a "Zero Reply Drive" for the next 48 hours. Starting at 10PM LQST on September 29th, I'd like to invite everyone to click http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...p?do=noreplies and attempt to answer as many questions as they can. At the time of this posting there were 496 threads in the last month that have yet to receive a reply. Let's see how low we can get that number in the next 48 hours. Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-drive-758562/ for more information.

I'd like to remind all members about two new features we recently added to LQ. First, you're now able to "thank" a member who has provided you help in a thread. To do this, simply click the blue thumbs up in the post you found helpful. This is a quick and easy way to show your appreciation. Second, you are now able to mark a thread as [Solved] by clicking "Mark this thread as solved" under "Thread Tools". The thread will remain open, but this will let other members who are having a similar issue know your thread contains a solution.
