$username,

The LQ Wiki is a collaboratively built knowledge base for all things Linux and Open Source related. A Wiki is a type of website that allows the visitors themselves to easily add, remove, and otherwise edit and change the content. That means you can contribute. Does your favorite project have a page? Is the information on your most used application updated and correct? Do you have a great tip to share? If so, head to http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/ and share your knowledge.

On a site with as many features as LQ, it's easy to miss some. I'd like to quickly highlight two features that you may not be aware of, but that are extremely useful. The first is tagging, which allows you to label posts with specific keywords. Visit http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...st#faq_tagging for more information and http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/lqtags.php for a list of popular tags. The second item I'd like to highlight is RSS, which allows you to easily syndicate LQ content. If you're not already using a dedicated feed reader, Firefox now has the ability built in via its Live Bookmarking support. Here are just a few of the many available LQ RSS feeds:

Latest Threads: http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/lqlatest.xml
LQ News: http://www.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/lqnews.rss
LQ Radio: http://radio.linuxquestions.org/syndicate/lqradio.php

Did you know you can save 20% on CrossOver Linux while helping LQ in the process? http://jeremy.linuxquestions.org/200...the-lq-survey/ has more details available, but it's as easy as using discount code LQCO20 when you make your purchase.
