In the past I have generally held to what had been Jeff's advice to simply "upgrade" between major releases, mostly, I suppose, to avoid waking the Kernel Dragon. This time, however, I wanted to see what all the new gewgaws were like so I installed 5.1 yesterday on my desktop and notebook.
What a splendid version!! I'm using MokshaArcGreen with a custom wallpaper(s). The look is absolutely perfect. I was a little confused because what I thought was going to be called "Epiphany" seems to be called "Web" but that's my problem.
Kind speech. We are happy you like the new version. The look: yes, the look is noticeably different but it could be sorta "like it or hate it". I also chose very symbolic green icon set, which matches the distro minimalistic approach. Some people do no like it. Good news is, we do not force anybody to use it. Everybody can customize the desktop to his liking. According what I said, I really appreciate your opinion to the default Bodhi design
I appreciate the improvements this works excellent on my ten year old work computers and now I have put it on my home computer replacing Lubuntu please keep the improvements coming! Thanks again!
