MK-0431 is a well known drug but widely known as Sitagliptin is a another name for the same orally taking drug which belongs to the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 group of drug in abbreviated form it is written as (DPP-4). This drug is widely used as a drug to control diabetes especially diabetes mellitus. These drug is taken alone or in combination with other drugs like thiazolidinedione or metformin or any reproductive drug of same class.
