I have been using fossil scm for the last half year and I am very pleased with it.
Being a longtime svn user, you need to get your head around it but eventually, I believe this tool is just great.
I actually started with git but due to the fact that installing more than just the basics did not work out, I switched to Fossil, partly also because I am a big fan of Sqlite which has been developed by the same person.
