Posted 04-23-2021 at 03:04 AM by floppy_stuttgart

WebCam (project Oct 2014):
I installed a webcam home and I can see my home webcam from anywhere worldwide with a browser (Opera/Firefox under Windows7; Firefox under Linux were tested).
HowTo (NOT mine; in german): http://jankarres.de/2013/12/raspberr...t-realisieren/
Personal modification:
- for my fritzbox 7170: portforwarding for ports 22, 80 and 1935
- modification of the given scripts with absolute path to the command ( NOT "cd ~ && ./video-stream.sh" in crontab but "/home/pi/video-stream.sh"
- .. read carefully all comments

Internal house camera (project 2021):
- with motion detection
- with radar detection for filtering suddent sun light changes during the day
- sending mails with pictures and video when something detected
This can be found in several forums in the internet; I will document here when I have a bit more time.
