How to embed a popup message within in shell script

Hi folks,
I have the shell script which will send SUCCESS ot FAILURE message depends on the condition.
Now I would like to show the pop up message(SUCCESS OR FAILURE) in some pages like(http://localhost/cgi-bin/mail.cgi) depends on the condition.
Please if anybody have the exposure related to this,Please fuide me.

sdm -t $mail_list -s "Success "`basename $0` -m "$1 /tmp/int002_$$"
if [ "$success250" -eq 1 ]
then
sdm -t $mail_list -s "Success "`basename $0` -m "$1 /tmp/int002_$$"
else
sdm -t $mail_list -s "FAILURE "`basename $0` -m "$1 /tmp/int002_$$"
