Re-formatting Laptop Hard Drive / New Linux Install

Posted 05-23-2007 at 10:52 PM by digerati1338

I decided to re-format my old laptop's hard drive. It used to have a copy of Win95 on and Minislack Linux (now called Zenwalk, but I was using an old version). Windows95 was helpful to run MS apps, but it doesn't have any usb support. I only had the upgrade CD, so to make it install I had to create a "win386.exe" file on the root of the c drive, which allows the upgrade to install the full version. Minislack linux worked great, but had no sound. I got bored with that setup and honestly...
