Cats

Posted 08-30-2010 at 11:55 PM by damgar

So my wife decided we needed pets. I thought my kids were all the animals we needed, but she over ruled me. Growing up I always had pets, but we always got them immediately after they were weened. These cats are about 4 months old, and they are just antisocial little things. So far I've had to disassemble the dishwasher to get one out of it's hiding place and put blankets under the recliner to keep people from killing the cats. On the plus side they are litter box trained so all in all it could be worse. So far it's like having mice though... you know they're in the house because you see the leavings, and hear them scurrying about, but you just never see them. I think I need to bring a dog home. Preferably a hungry one.

Ha! Yeah, cats may be "clean animals" but they sure do dirty up their surroundings. The cats moved to the back porch over the weekend (their own choice), but we had a flood today and I'm thinking they are wishing they'd been a little more social!
