ExLight Linux Live DVD with Enlightenment 0.19 :: now based on Ubuntu 14.10

WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 141104?
1. ExLight is now based on Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn 64 bit, released October 23, 2014).
2. I have upgraded the Desktop environment Enlightenment (Beauty at your fingertips) to version 0.19. Installed from source.
3. I have replaced kernel 3.16.0-5-exton with kernel 3.16.0-21-exton.
4. New software content: AbiWord, Nautilus, SpaceFM, Firefox, Gimp and GParted. Also all necessary additions in order to install programs from source. Study...

NEWS 140607 re. Exton|Defender based on Slackware 14.1

I’ve made a new version of Exton|Defender 64 bit based on Slackware 14.1. It uses Mate 1.8.1 as Desktop environment and kernel 3.14.5-x86_64-exton. The Mate Desktop environment is not included in Slackware’s official repositories. To be able to install Mate in Exton|Defender I had to add Salix‘s repositories. Build 140308 of ExTiX 14

I have released a new version of ExTiX 14 today (140308). Corrected minor errors and come to grips with a problem with Apt. ExTiX is now (hopefully) totally error-free. I have also upgraded all packages to the latest version as of 140308.
