Thanks for the input. What next? GOOGLE for buildroot!
It's not LFS, but something entirely unscripted. And yes, it's gonna take time, but hey, it's in line with the base Linux idea:
you may look into buildroot, it's a set of scripts for simple way of building LFS with uClibc. It has it's bugs though, but may be interesting if you're just starting with LFS. If you really want to build it all yourself, then yes, it's a long learning, lots of trials and errors, but in the end, brings you a desired results LFS ftw!
This is something totally unscripted. I just want to see what makes Linux tick...
So far it's been very educational.
