    Setting the Linux Hostname

    This is very useful information. Had trouble changing hostnames. This should make things clear. Thanks a lot.

    P.S.: I think openSUSE has /etc/HOSTNAME. Didnot find it in others I have tried.

    i have recently updated my aa1 via the acer site and now i cannot connect to my wireless adsl. what can i do?

    Glad you found it useful.

    I agree a lot of the information works for many of the netbooks as most of the hardware in the netbooks is similar even from different manufacturers. (same CPU's same video chip, handful of wireless, etc.. )

    Even though I run Debian on my AAO, I find the links for the other Distros useful as well, arch had some interesting pieces, and Ubuntu, etc..

    This is an AWESOME resource. I was actually looking for one specific to Dell Minis, but I find that most of this will also apply to almost all netbooks.
