xorg problems


i tried arch, and could not fully enjoy it because after installing xorg and exec X -configure and finally startx, and i got nothing. I tried to install ddxcinfo-arch and hwd and ddxcinfo failed. I also tred too install an ati driver like the wiki said, still nothing. oow can I fix this?

What's your Xorg.0.log? Also, being Arch, you may have to specifically load the modules at boot in a text file.
What's your card?
