Strange problems with Sakura

Hello,

I've just provisioned a laptop with Arch Linux, using OpenBox3, Tint2, Cairo Dock and Sakura. I seem to be encountering an issue with Sakura - I ssh/screen to my irssi setup on a remote machine and after a time it becomes unresponsive, I can no longer use my keybinds to change channels. It seems to work for the first few minutes, then hangs.

Any ideas what the cause (and hopefully solution) may be? It's not an issue with the remote machine, I know this for certain (I can ssh/screen in from other machines with no hanging issues at all - even after 24 hours).

Upon trying with roxterm, the same issue seems to occur.

I've also tried adding ServerAliveInterval in /etc/ssh/ssh_config (encase it's an ssh timeout - which strikes me as being an odd issue), tried values 540 and 60 - neither make a difference either.
