Package Build - Basic Doubt

I know I am going to get pounded for referring to the Wiki...Arch is superbly updated so actually there is no need to build custom packages...

I want to try Chakra - (Fork of Arch)...Chakra unfortunately doesnt enjoy a huge collection of packages...I have used Debian and Slack and built packages from source,,

The BUILD system is pretty confusing and doesnt follow these steps

1, Download tarball 2. ./configure 3. Make Make Install

In Arch and Chakra what is to be done??

Actually I want to use the package myself and dont want to submit or anything in AUR/CCR etc as I am a noob myself! So all these packing standards are irrelevant to me..How do I locally generate a txz package?

Ex - Homebank accounting software not there in Chakra so I have to download tar ball and do what??

The solution was available in Arch Wiki itself under the section "PKGBUILD" , "ABS",makepkg where the methodology used by Arch is made more clear. In fact I now learn that Arch follows the same 3 step build process but in a more organized ports like structure...

I marked it as "SOLVED" as it answered most of my questions

CHAKRA uses a very similar methodology adopted by Arch , the only difference it has its own repos and binaries shouldnt be shared between these 2.
